Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Tech Jupjup ("this site") values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and Korea's PIPA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
This site does not require account registration. However, when you use participation features such as comments or the newsletter, information you voluntarily enter (nickname, comment text, email address) and technical data used for spam prevention may be collected. In addition, the following third-party services may process cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device and browser information, and other identifiers.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Information collected includes page views, visit duration, device type, and approximate location (country/city level). This data is collected via cookies and does not personally identify you.

Google AdSense
This site may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and third-party advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, personalize ads, limit ad frequency, prevent abuse, and measure ad performance. Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, and ads may be personalized based on your previous visits to this and other websites. This site may show region-specific ad consent messages through Google Privacy & messaging/Funding Choices.

Comments
Our comment feature can be used without any account registration or login. When you post a comment, the nickname you provide (optional) and your comment text are collected and stored, and both are publicly displayed. To prevent spam and abuse, we do not store your raw IP address — only a one-way hashed (SHA-256) value. Comment data is stored on the "Supabase" infrastructure described below.
Newsletter
You may subscribe by entering your email address to receive notifications about new posts. Your email is collected with your consent, used solely to send new-content updates, and is never sold or shared with third parties. Subscription data is stored on the "Supabase" infrastructure, and you can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time via the contact email below.
Supabase (data storage)
Comment and newsletter subscription data are stored on Supabase (a database infrastructure provider), with the server region set to South Korea (Seoul). Supabase acts as our processor and performs only data storage and processing on our behalf. (Reactions and view counts are stored as per-post aggregate numbers only and do not identify individuals.)
2. Cookies
This site uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential / local storage: Site functionality such as dark mode preference, your reaction state, and view history (stored in localStorage)
- Analytics: Google Analytics for visitor statistics
- Advertising: Google AdSense and advertising partners for ad serving, personalization, frequency capping, and measurement
You can modify cookie settings or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings or My Ad Center.
3. How We Use Information
- Analyze site usage and improve content quality
- Display advertisements to support site operations
- Improve site functionality and user experience
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. However, the services mentioned above (Google Analytics, AdSense, Supabase) and advertising partners may process data under their own privacy policies for service delivery, analytics, ad serving, and ad measurement. If ads are served to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, applicable law and Google policies may apply notice and consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP).
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete or block cookies through your browser settings
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension
- Adjust Google ad personalization settings
- Access or request deletion of your comments and newsletter subscription
- Request information about your data by contacting ttoparr12@gmail.com
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability.
6. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in applicable laws or our practices. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
